Editorial Reviews

From the Studio
Directed by Albert Herman, this movie is a hilarious comedy about a corpse that keeps popping up in the wrong places at wrong times, and disappears just as mysteriously.

THE PLOT: Joe Clarey, a petty criminal, kills McDonald, the proprietor of a newspaper and frames Henry Kruger, who had, in a spate of anger, threatened to kill McDonald. Ignored by his family, Kruger drives away for a vacation, quite unaware of McDonalds corpse hidden in the boot of his car. At the hunting lodge, the corpse is discovered by Kruger. His driver comes to Kruger’s rescue, shifting the body from one hiding place to another, as Kruger’s family members and a nosey cop stumble upon the deadly secret.

Product Description
Flight to Nowhere, is an intriguing story. In this low-budget espionage adventure, an ex-FBI agent Hobe is convinced by an active agent Bob Donovan to help him find a stolen map showing the location of invaluable uranium deposits located on a remote South Pacific island. Carrington, now a pilot, flies Countess Marie, to Death Valley along with a few others, where she plans to sell the map. Carrington is baffled as the map changes hands faster than he can think. Murders ensue as different people vie to get their hands on the valuable document.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Brought Back Good Memories, May 24, 2006
This is one of the first films I ever saw in a movie theater with my parents when I was a little girl and I didn't think I'd ever see it again. So, imagine how happy I was when I saw it here and ordered it. It really is a classic film, full of mystery and adventure and the quality of the film restoration is excellent. I'd forgotten how it ended so the suspense was still thrilling to me today even though I'd seen it before many, many years ago.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Road Film/Mystery Combo, May 4, 2006
TRaditional mystery films take place in one enclosed setting amonst a limited cast of characters so the audience can follow along with the detective to one of a limited number of conclusions.

Road Films on the other hand usually involve a large cast of characters and are about moving them from one place to another.

Flight to nowhere has elements of both films - as people have to figure out the mystery of why the papers that are being chased are important while also following them on their adventures from point a to point b.

The result is a film that is much less of a formula feature than many of the same era and a heck of a lot of fun.
