This review is from: Flight Testing of Fixed-Wing Aircraft (AIAA Education) (Hardcover)
A classic Part 23 flight test guide. The author's techniques can be applied to LSA and Part 23 flight testing, with or without and data acquisition system. It sure helps to have a GPS, AHRS, and instrumented control forces and positions though.
Much like the Air Force and Navy manuals are tailored to their typical aircraft configuration, this is tailored to small GA aircraft certified under Part 23. The author also presents actual plots for real aircraft which is something of a rarity. |
