Sari London Creates Complex, Exciting, Vivid Women, September 6, 2011
This review is from: Fling, Friend, or Forever? (Kindle Edition)
In this novel, Sari London brings to life the women in vivid detail. I love how easy it is to envision each woman, her passions and interests and the complexity of how each one navigates relationships, work and life. Loved the description of how Julia taught her dog to wink.
Fling, Friend, or Forever? My favorite quote from the book is "I need to be honest yet caring. Sometimes the truth is hard, but it is always best." I also like the juxtaposition of characters writing in a journal with action scenes and descriptions of what people are thinking.
Most of all I love the way the characters are developed so fully it is as if I am hearing a friend tell me a story about their day, their life, their community of real people. London creates very vivid characters in exciting yet everyday complex lives. Thank you Sari for this wonderful book.

An enjoyable look at complex relationships, September 27, 2011
This review is from: Fling, Friend, or Forever? (Kindle Edition)
This book is about the classic dilemma in lesbian relationships -- is the woman in your life a fling, a friend, a partner forever, or some combination of the above? It gives you a glimpse into the thoughts of several women puzzling through their common relationships as they change over a period of time. I especially liked the journal entries. They seemed very "real" to me.

Great Reading!, September 13, 2011
This review is from: Fling, Friend, or Forever? (Kindle Edition)
The best thing I can say about this book is that it's real. It truly conveys the thoughts and feelings that are present in our minds and hearts... most times not said aloud. Throughout the story and the intermittent `journaling' by the narrator, our deepest emotions are called forth to be reflected upon. And, last but not least, it is an interesting and captivating story.
