FROM SPANISH FUN ACTIVITY CALENDAR: What a fantastic idea! Use this calendar to teach your child a phrase a day. On the fifth day, put them all together to make a sentence. Your child can also use this calendar to practice counting in Spanish, learn the names for the seasons, the days of the week, and the months. Each month of the calendar also has a picture which your child can label with the new words they have learned. Special assignments are scattered throughout the calendar. These assignments are fun review activities that have to do with the sentences the children are currently learning. "Call out the Spanish body parts and wave or pat them as you call out the name, "Look outside describe the weather in Spanish" and other things like that. The best part about this product is you can start it at any time. You can even do it more than once , going through it each year so that your child reviews and retains what they have learned. About the Author

Sra. Gose graduated from University with a strong desire to teach languages and experience the joys of helping students communicate in multiple languages. Part of her schooling took place in Madrid, where she lived with a wonderful widow who knew not a speck of English. After "retiring" from public school teaching to have the first of their five children, she missed her students as well as the fun of teaching. Thus, the full-time mother and homemaker began Sra. Gose's Spanish Classes. Since then, she has developed lessons and activities for weekly classes for students ages three years to eighteen. Her books are compilations of her proven Spanish curriculum. More About the Author

Señora Gose (1976-present) was born in Dallas, Texas and enjoyed discovering other languages at a very early age. After studying abroad in Spain as part of her schooling in University, she returned home to teach Spanish in the Public Schools for several years. When her first child was born, motherhood called her home, but she missed teaching and began offering her own private classes. Unable to find useful Spanish curriculum that was engaging for her age range of students (ages 3 and up), Señora wrote her own weekly lessons.

As more and more families asked for copies of the lessons, Flip Flop Spanish was born. She continues to teach Spanish to their own five children as well as hundreds of other homeschooling and public schooling students each year in Central Texas, and looks forward to adding more helpful workbooks and foreign language tools to the Flip Flop Language Series.

Her own experiences with learning a foreign language helps her to remain patient and positive that every student who wants to learn Spanish, can. "We just have to find the method that's best for that brain!" Students continually test and give feedback on every worksheet, activity, and lesson plan before the Flip Flop Spanish series ever goes to press. She prides herself on only publishing proven techniques that are fun, rewarding, and effective.

Just got these cards to help us in learning elementary spanish. The cards are great with the pronunciation right under the word and the english translation below. The pictures on the front side are great too, not cartoons, but real photos. Very helpful, I hope there will be more sets.

These flash cards are the perfect complement to the books. They are so much fun that my three-year-old is constantly asking to play. What a great way to reinforce the learning! I can't wait for more!

What a great addition to Senora Gose's Flip Flop Spanish books! I really like that it shows real pictures not cartoons. It is also reasonably priced.Flip Flop Spanish: Ages 3-5: Level 1
