About the Author

Senora Gose is a mother of five children, and an avid private Spanish classes teacher. Part of her study took place in Madrid, where she lived with a wonderful widow who knew not a speck of English. After retiring from public school teaching to have the first of their children, she missed her students as well as the fun of teaching. Thus, the full-time mother and homemaker began Sra. Gose's Spanish Classes. Since then, she has developed lessons and activities for weekly classes for students ages three years to eighteen. Her books are compilations of her proven Spanish curriculum.

More About the Author

Señora Gose (1976-present) was born in Dallas, Texas and enjoyed discovering other languages at a very early age. After studying abroad in Spain as part of her schooling in University, she returned home to teach Spanish in the Public Schools for several years. When her first child was born, motherhood called her home, but she missed teaching and began offering her own private classes. Unable to find useful Spanish curriculum that was engaging for her age range of students (ages 3 and up), Señora wrote her own weekly lessons.

As more and more families asked for copies of the lessons, Flip Flop Spanish was born. She continues to teach Spanish to their own five children as well as hundreds of other homeschooling and public schooling students each year in Central Texas, and looks forward to adding more helpful workbooks and foreign language tools to the Flip Flop Language Series.

Her own experiences with learning a foreign language helps her to remain patient and positive that every student who wants to learn Spanish, can. "We just have to find the method that's best for that brain!" Students continually test and give feedback on every worksheet, activity, and lesson plan before the Flip Flop Spanish series ever goes to press. She prides herself on only publishing proven techniques that are fun, rewarding, and effective.

Sra Gose uses a unique blend of innovation and practicality in her workbooks for teaching your child Spanish. The user-friendly format, dynamic page layouts, and creative illustrations make teaching and learning Spanish much more enjoyable!

The author is also available through her website for comments, questions and feedback. She'll even email you a free lesson upon request!

If you're hoping to broaden your child's knowledge of a foreign language this curriculum is the perfect tool for your family. Your kids will not be overwhelmed and you'll be amazed by how much they (& you!) learn and retain!

My daughter loved working through this book. It made learning fun. We love that there are songs. The CD makes learning easier and stay with us longer. It is such a fun way to learn Spanish.

Flip flop learning has done what we all have been waiting for ... creating an engaging, dynamic, fun, and hands-on workbook to teach our children Spanish. Activities such as rodilla races (knee races), real life scenarios, charades, and art activities bust the typical mold of boring workbook and catapult kids into a love of learning Spanish.

As an educator with a degree in teaching children second languages, I highly recommend this product. Using it in my own Spanish classroom, as well in my home, I have witnessed firsthand as children beg to do Spanish again and again! Each lesson is broken down into manageable chunks to encourage true language learning and retention. The audio CD is a true asset, allowing students and their families to pronounce new vocabulary correctly, taking all the guess work out of teaching Spanish.

We have finished our first workbook and are eagerly anticipating the release of Flip Flop Spanish Level 2. Thank you Senora Gose for creating a resource that truly fosters a creative love of learning.
