4.0 out of 5 stars It works fine
Our little girls likes to sit on it. It is more convienent then puting something on in a hurry. We did have to take the normal seat lid off so that the pee guard did not poke adults in the back.

I thought this product was perfect for potty training until I received it and realized it doesn't fit all types of toilets. Due to the location of the hinges on most toilet seats these days, which are horizontal, it doesn't connect. I had to buy a different seat in order for it to work with my toilet. When shopping for a different seat I only found one of a dozen at Wal-mart that had the type of hinge that works with this seat. Anyone buying this seat needs to have the type of hinge that has a vertical hinge that has two screws in the toilet seat and the same on the lid itself. The commonly found seats which have an extended area of plastic that are molded onto the end of the seat and lid and make for a horizontal hinge which is about 2 inches long will not work.

3.0 out of 5 stars potty seat, January 9, 2007

This seat works ok, but it didn't fit our original seat cover so we had to go out and buy another seat cover to use with it. It falls down easily if an adult is trying to use the toilet without the training seat.

2.0 out of 5 stars not the best, November 5, 2006

I bought this for my son thinking that the pee guard would be okay. My son pees over the top of this, plus it being on isn't to comfortable for an adult's back and having this also makes are toilet seat loose and we have to tighten the screws often. The whole on it is also pretty small.

3.0 out of 5 stars Frustrated and we haven't even started potty training yet!, June 19, 2007

I still have yet to potty train my daughter, but we installed the Flip N Flush toilet ahead of time so she can sit on it whenever she wants and gets comfortable with the idea that it is "her" potty and this is where she will go when she's ready.

Our original toilet seat cracked after installation (no, we're not overweight. we think the plastic Flip and Flush attachment slightly lifted the seat causing our toilet seat to flex every time we sat on it). We purchased a standard-sized seat replacement only to learn when we got home that it wasn't compatible with the Flip N Flush attachment (the part that attached to the toilet was too wide, thereby not accommodating the Flip 'n Flush), so we had to go back and get another seat that we didn't really like.

So, we haven't even begun potty training and we're a bit frustrated with this seat.

1.0 out of 5 stars Maybe good for girls but definately not boys!, March 18, 2008
This review is from: Flip N Flush Potty Seat (Baby Product)
The splash guard comes no where near being where it should be, this may be fine if you have a girl, but if you have a boy you may as well just let him pee on the floor because that's exactly what's going to happen with this seat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loooove it!, April 12, 2007
This review is from: Flip N Flush Potty Seat (Baby Product)
4-1/2 stars!!! I would have given it a full 5 stars if it had fit my toilet better. I had to kind of slide-cram it into place, but it was sturdy & flexible enough to take it(thank goodness). And it's definetly taken some hassel out of potty training. It's already there to just flip down & just as easy to clean as I'm cleaning the rest of the toilet. I would fully reccomend this as a gift for any house that children frequent!

2.0 out of 5 stars Would have been great if it had fit my toilet, November 2, 2007
This review is from: Flip N Flush Potty Seat (Baby Product)
Not much to say except that I measured my toilet to ensure that it was the correct size and when I received the product, you could not put the potty seat down flush onto the toilet seat and also it prevented the toilet seat lid from being put down. I returned it and am still awaiting the funds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great seat!, October 20, 2006
This review is from: Flip N Flush Potty Seat (Baby Product)
This potty seat is the only toilet training item I have bought. I highly recomend it! My daughter thinks she is a big girl on the big potty. You need a step stool for them to get up on their own. I like that the seat is sturdy enough to withstand a 30 lb. 3 ft. 2 yro. climbing up & situating her self with out my help because ultimatly that is the goal & this product I feel helps get to that goal.
