Beware the new 3rd generation Flip Ultra HD requires a Micro not mini HDMI
cable and these do not fit!!

I got these cables for free as a Flip Ultra HD bundle. The Flip was a Christmas gift for my mother as it is very simple to operate. With the cable attached to my HD TV, she can instantly watch the video she just shot without waiting for me to download the files to my computer and on to the portable player/hard drive. Two cables are included in this package, one long and one short. The short cable is long enough for my needs. I have the long one in my camera bag for travel. To my surprise, these cables also work with my Canon 5D Mark II and are very good built/quality.

Works great! I can immediately watch my HD videos on my HD TV. They were very easy to connect. I leave one set connected to the TV all the time, so I can watch instant videos. The second set I keep in my bag, so if I'm at a friends house and shoot stuff, we can watch the videos right away. I highly recommend you purchase these cables for your Flip Video camera.

Excellent cables except that they do not fit my 3rd generation FLIP. IF I had read the reviews on this product, I would have known that.

Comes with two of them. The white one is long and the black one is short. Got this for free with the flip when I ordered so they are worth it. They do there job and with the Ultra HD and this on your HD tv it looks amazing!

These cables do not fit nor work with the Flip UltraHD Video Camera - Black, 8 GB, 2 Hours (3rd Generation).

The connector on the camera end is an HDMI 'mini'; the camera takes a smaller HDMI 'micro' connection. This is because of the addition of the (useless to me) Flip Port. (I chose not to return the cables. Amazon wanted me to pay the shipping. I had to order another cable. If I had really parsed the words in the ad I could maybe have been warned. The kicker is Cisco does not yet offer cables for the 3rd gen. Camera; I had to buy from a 3 rd party supplier. Frankly, I think they should include HDMI and USB cables. Good camera, poor marketing. I give 2 stars!

For those that are trying to decide between a cheap one or one with the Flip name (as I did) let me help you. We recently purchased a Flip UltraHD camera and as most HDMI cables are the same, regardless of what the store says, I bought a cheap one to use to connect to the TV. It should have worked but it didn't.

I couldn't get it to recognize the camera. Anyway, long story short, I bought this cable and it works great.

Moral of the story: sometimes the name does matter.

These cables are standard HDMI and will work with components that require these end connecters. I ordered them to connect my Canon EOS Rebel T2i DSLR to my Sony HDTV. Both picture and sound are transferred with superior quality.

The HDMI cables were very easy to connect to the Flip Video and my television. I would have taken the cable with me to friends' home and shown my videos that were on my Flip. I love it.

Unfortunately no stars is not an option. I bought these cables together with the 3rd generation Flip UltraHD camera because Amazon recommended it. Funny enough, they don't work with the 3rd generation Flip. If you own a U32120B camera--don't buy these. I made this mistake in January and they are still being advertised together on Amazon.
