5.0 out of 5 stars Great portable option for holding books in place
I bought the FlipKlip at the same time as the Paperbax holder, and I would have to say that the FlipKlip seems like a better product, at least for my uses. The FlipKlip is very small, but the design and the springs work very well at holding both narrow and wide books to their open pages. I've been using the FlipKlip on exercise machines at the gym for several weeks now,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected
This is my 4th book holder. Still trying to find one that really works well. This one is not any better than the others. I gave one as a gift and have not had a response from my giftee. So I gather she was not overwhelmed either.

The FlipKlip is very small, but the design and the springs work very well at holding both narrow and wide books to their open pages. I've been using the FlipKlip on exercise machines at the gym for several weeks now, and it's never let me down. (The Paperbax is larger and therefore a bit less portable, and it's harder to turn pages with its design than with the FlipKlip.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book Holder! Love it for Hands-Free Reading, September 29, 2008

I use this book holder when I am knitting. It is a great product for this purpose. I've been looking for a lap-style book holder that leaves my hands free. This does just the trick! I am able to knit easily and it allows me to flip the page without too much fiddling! I love it and would recommend it to others!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Flip book holder works great!, March 21, 2008

I use this flip book holder to help hold a book open on a music stand so I can read while I jog on the treadmill. Works great. Bought a set of two so my son can have his own book going.

I'm on the go, and try to cram studying in where ever I can. Being able to hold a book in place while walking on the treadmill helps a lot on those days when I have an overload of work to do and still trying to take care of myself.

I like the flip clip. It's easy to use and works with various thickness of books. It doesn't hold them tight and real flat (like the Paperbax does), but then again that's easier on your book and easier to turn the pages. It's compact and easy to take with you. I use it when I'm reading while on my exerciser. It's great. I would like one that is easier to flip pages quicker without having to undo the clip. It looks like the Easy Read one will do that. I haven't tried that one yet. It doesn't have a flip out stand like the paperbax does either. But I find myself using the flip clip much more than the paperbax as it is easier on my book, can take thicker books and is easier to turn the pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST book holder ever, January 9, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

It's simply perfect for when I go to the gym. The magazine holders on the cardio machines don't hold the pages of my books open and I prefer to have my arms swing free, so this does the job perfectly. It adapts to thick or thin books. I had one for 4 years and had to order a new one only because I lost it. I got the two pack to give one to someone else. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars SO helpful!, October 18, 2011

I love this thing! I actually thought I already wrote a review about it but now I don't see it. It works quite well for me at the gym on the elliptical machine when I'm reading large hardcover or medium-sized paperback. For little trade paperback books it doesn't work quite as well, but I can still sometimes make it work well enough to get through my workout. I would highly recommend, I use it practically every day so you know it's durable! (knock on wood...)

4.0 out of 5 stars Page Holder for Books, August 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: FlipKlip Treadmill Book Holder (2-Pak) (Misc.)
This book page holder is not a toy, but a necessity for reading books with stiff bindings. It allows one to read music books at the piano and play or read paper-back books without having to hold the pages down. It is quite effective, not perfect. It works on large or small books. mike

5.0 out of 5 stars Throw it in your purse or car and go!, June 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: FlipKlip Treadmill Book Holder (2-Pak) (Misc.)
Love this product! Even holds big books open if you don't try to put the whole book in the holder (try 100 pages or so, not the whole book-hardcover and all!) Used it for magazines when I am on the treadmill and paperback or handcover books when I am eating and only have one hand. Would work well with cookbooks or just about anything. I threw one in my purse and have it wherever I need it!
