5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful for those who don't clue in
This is an insightful read for those who want to learn how to flirt, how to charm people, and/or how to read people better. The book is a quick and enjoyable read. It goes into how to charm all different types of people and mentions the differences (visual, auditory, etc.) and how to recognize these and still charm them. It's past 8th grade material and has some good...

1.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price of a dollar..
This book will not help you do anything. The MOST it will do for you is confuse you when it comes to flirting. If you learn something, it was an accident. If any man or woman out there wants success with the opposite sex, buy <How to make anyone fall in love with you> It is easy, makes sence and the techniques in there are SOLID. I have done them in the past before...

5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful for those who don't clue in, May 20, 2006
This review is from: Flirting 101: How to Charm Your Way to Love, Friendship, and Success (Paperback)
This is an insightful read for those who want to learn how to flirt, how to charm people, and/or how to read people better. The book is a quick and enjoyable read. It goes into how to charm all different types of people and mentions the differences (visual, auditory, etc.) and how to recognize these and still charm them. It's past 8th grade material and has some good examples on how to make good impressions on people just by simple little acts like asking questions rather than talking about yourself, or when making a point touch their elbow for a strong effect. So far I've put quite a few of the practical tips to use and have gotten excellent results. At first I thought flirting was kind of degrading as most girls tend to just act dumb and giddy, but this book talks about how flirting is just for fun, you can flirt with the same sex or opposite and it's just about making the other person feel good about themselves. I recommend this for a fun read that can be insightful, even to a seasoned flirter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Help for the socially challenged, July 21, 2008

Great book. As basic as this should be, some of us just aren't natural charmers. This is a easy, quick read book with great advise. It helped me not be so up-tight about flirting. I was raised so conservative that any kind of flirting always made me feel like a, well you know. But it just enforces that it IS okay, and all the positives of flirting. Good book.

Some people have said this book is for people who are clueless. Well, I must be clueless, because I found it to be pretty good. If you are clueless too, I think you'll enjoy this book. Us clueless people need a little help sometimes.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great guide--if you're 12 years old!!!!!, April 1, 2010

When I got to the end of this book, I remembered the classic and very wise joke, 'What's the difference between sexual harrassment and flirting? If she ACTUALLY likes you or not!!' This book is a decent beginners guide and nothing more. Flirting is one of those mystical qualities that you have to practice at to get better at and is much better seen/experienced than described. To make matters even more difficult, flirting and pick-up, sadly, exactly fall into the category of THOSE WHO CAN'T DO IT TEACH IT. For example, if you know someone who is very good at getting laid a lot (and you know it, not just their lies about it) and you ask them how they do it, especially if its a guy, 99 times out of 100 they won't be able to tell you except to say something vague like, "Oh I just talk to 'em." Its a numbers game, by far. Guys, please don't pine away obsessing over one woman that you don't even really know and who really doesn't know you. Some women are guilty of this too, but the vast majority of this type of thing is men's doing. This book is OK for a quick read, but I wouldn't recommend spending too much money on it, if any at all.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not that great, January 31, 2007
This review is from: Flirting 101: How to Charm Your Way to Love, Friendship, and Success (Paperback)
I got this book from a friend who's always giving me fun, short reads. It's an ok book. I saw some other posts saying that this is for people who have no clue and it's true. I believe you can learn at least a little something from every book out there, so I will finish it, but I haven't found anything extraordinary so far.
