Book Description

October 1, 1998 Harlequin Temptation
BLAZE

Red-hot reads from Temptation!

SHE HAD T-R-O-U-B-L-E WRITTEN ALL OVER HER

The leggy blonde with cornflower blue eyes caught Mason O'Neill's attention…as a red-blooded male—and a cop. Clearly Bailey Grayson was out of her element on the streets of L.A. So Mason arrested the sexy small-town accountant—temporarily—to keep her safe.

Safe from whom? Mason was determined to help Bailey find her missing sister. But increasingly he was drawn to her beguiling mix of innocence and eroticism. He wanted Bailey in his bed—and she wasn't resisting much. He wanted to love her senseless.

Bailey was flirting with trouble. She couldn't ignore Mason's slow sexual pull….

But he had H-E-A-R-T-B-R-E-A-K written all over him.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Dangerous Game, June 28, 2004

This review is from: Flirting With Danger (Blaze) (Harlequin Temptation) (Paperback)
Bailey Grayson is in Los Angeles from Wisconsin looking for her sister, who is a runaway. She'd hired a private investigator and he'd told her that her sister had been seen with Devon Shore, a pimp, so Bailey is dressed like a hooker, hoping to hook some info, but unknown to her, detective Mason O'Neill is staking out said pimp and when someone tries to force Bailey into his car, O'Neill interferes. He arrests Bailey, but at the station his superiors like her idea of trying to infiltrate the pimps stable. O'Neill, however, isn't happy with the plan.

This is an exciting read, one that had me hooked right from the beginning and kept me glued to my chair. Naturally sparks are zinging back and forth between the detective and the sheep in hooker's clothing. The story steams and it's exciting to boot and I highly recommend it.
