The 2 disc reissue is all the Mel & Kim you could want, November 15, 2010
Wow. Another creation of the Stock Aitken Waterman production team of the late 80s, Mel & Kim's hit album gets a major reissue here, with pretty much every remix you could imagine has bonus tracks. Disc one is saved for the album and all the classic SAW sounding mixes, while disc two is focused on alternative mixes that are much more house and garage house in sound. Unlike some recent reissues of SAW produced material that failed to deliver the bass and sounded very thin with too many highs, this reissue captures the heavy house bass of the original recordings perfectly. If only they'd all stop concentrating on "Showing Out.", October 22, 2006

The sister duo of Mel & Kim Appleby (born 7-11-66 & 8-28-61, respectively), are best known for the hit "Showing Out (Get Fresh At The Weekend)", but this album, well-distinguished by the slick pop craftsmanship of Stock-Aitken-Waterman, should be heard in it's entirety. I absoulutely love the song "I'm The One Who Really Loves You" and think that it easily ousts "Showing Out" as this album's best song. This was M&K's only album; Mel died of cancer in 1990.
