What a piece of crap.

There is no way to just set it down and let it continue to siphon on its own.

Used it 4 times and it started to leak inside the handle.

EXPERIENCE: Keep in mind, there is nothing really made of metal here that I can see, this unit is comprised of PVC, rubber, and plastic can be found at the pump handle. Once I got the pickup line attached to my Blitz 6.5 gallon gas can, and the other end attached to the pump handle, I was ready to start pumping gas.

The manual recommends that you place the gas can above the fuel tank, to allow gravity to activate siphoning mode, to allow for easier pumping, which is what I did. I pumped the handle probably about 6-times, and the gas starting flowing out. Then all I had to do was, keep holding the handle!

The gas did not flow out at a super fast rate, however, I do feel that it does flow at 1-gallon per minute. Considering my tractor has a 3-gallon fuel tank, I am glad I have this. Trust me, trying to hold a fully filled 6.5 gallon gas can which weighs at least 40 to 50 pounds, for a total of 2 minutes or more to fill a 3-gallon fuel tank, is super difficult.

The pump contains a internal reservoir, which allows it to pump fuel more efficiently then the older design Han-De-Pumps. And because of the complete redesign, the pump does not leak like the Han-De-Pump did. The Flo N Go Superflo gas pump is EPA certified and is environmentally friendly.

When not in use, the manual recommends that you remove the unit off the gas can, and drain it. This process is super easy, just hold above the can, and allow the fuel to flo back inside, then turn the pump handle upside down, press the handle, and allows the reservoir to drain the fuel back into the can.

CONCLUSION: I find this pump to be very useful for filling my tractor, however, could also be used to emergency my vehicles fuel tank as well! This is a must have if you want to save your arms from torture.

Used it 4 times and it started to leak inside the handle. It was good while it lasted, but it didn't last. I will try to get a refund or a replacement from the manufacturer.

I tried to use the original product again and the nozzle completely broke off where the nozzle meets the gray plastic housing. I sure hope the replacement is much better than the original.

I have contacted the manufacturer and they are going to replace the Flo N Go under warranty. I will amend the product review if the replacement unit lasts longer than the original.

The replacement unit failed after using five times. Don't waste your money.

I didn't trust the plastic hose clamps, so I replaced them with more durable metal hose clamps. The siphon pump itself works great, if you follow the instructions and allow gravity to help the siphon effect.

I tried the ball type siphon pump sold here and in every big box store because it was cheap, total failure.

I then took a chance on this and was pleased that it worked on the first try.

The instructions are simple and I read them completely before starting.

I used it first to drain a tank of stale fuel, 18 gallons worth. It did take a while but the flow was steady and worked perfectly.

So far its had four uses, I cleaned it each time, no issues. Even if it had only worked once that would have been fine because it did work, unlike many others (pump and ball type).

I had to get the gas out our motorhome because it had been in for a year and didn't want to drive it for at least 400 miles to do it so I looked at siphoning it out. I bought the superFlo pump because it had the best ratings not realizing it only had a 1 gal/min flow. There were some complications in getting to the gas tank and I had to talk to the folks at Flo N Go who were extremely helpful. The pump worked great although it took a while to get the 4o gallons of gas out. It worked great just as described.

Fast shipping, easy to use. Much easier to use than the pump bulb types. Squeeze lever 4-5 times and its working. To keep from holding the lever manually down while syphoning, i used a velcro strap on the handle when emptying a five gallon car into a vehicle, It is not a speed demon but works properly. The higher you mount the 5 gallon can the faster the flow. would recommend to a friend

so far so good. I used the product to siphen older gas out of my Generator and put in the lawn mower. I then purchased a 5 gallan gas can and set it up like a gas pump that I can use for either. Works well. Dont care for the handle hook, feel it should be better designed. but all in all a great product so far.
