My son loved this video. He can watch it over and over. This is a great video on lying. I would purchase it for others as a gift. The quality of the video is great. This is one of his best videos.

I have reviewed a few other Hermie movies and this one is one of my least favorite. My son is nearly 4 years old, so maybe if he were a bit older, I would feel differently. I did not like this script because I found it very harsh and the characters didn't seem to be very forgiving. I am not opposed to reading or watching things that deal with lying, cheating, etc. (obviously since I bought this movie) however, I just really expected it to be more about the forgiveness and changing of the heart rather than being so focused on the lying. My other issue with Hermie, and again I have several movies, is that there is no word about Jesus. HE is the reason for the Bible and for our salvation and I wish I could find early childhood videos that talked about HIM!!

Our son absolutley LOVES this DVD!! He is 2 and a half, and he understands the concept and especially loves the bright colors and the music. He watches it over and over. My husband and I like the fact that kids can be entertained and learn a lesson at the same time. We would definitely recommend this one!

This DVD is hilariously funny, has a wonderful story line and awesome music by Third Day! Vicky Lawrence brings this character to life and captivates my kids with Flo's antics. I even still like it after the 100th time my son asks to watch it.

Teaches the importance of telling the truth and reinforces Christian values.

This book along with "Hermie" and "You are Special" are great books for children! My 2 year old loves this one and so do my 8 and 10 yr olds. Lucado seems to have a way to write any book directly at the audience and it seems like the audience is always you. I love Lucado's adult books and "you are Special" was so great I had to buy this one. It has been carried around, droppped, dragged and dunked, it is still readable and gets read atleast once a day, upon request!

This brings a great message about lying. We love Max Lucado DVD's because they are well produced and very good with biblical messages.

This video clearly shows the negative consequences of lying and demonstrates how frustrating life can be when no one will believe what you say. Two different characters demonstrate that they regret lying to others. Adults and children alike can enjoy this video!

My 1 1/2 yr old daughter loves this and so did my 6 yr old nephew! It's a great lesson about not lying and how you aren't trusted if you do lie!

This is probably my personal favorite Hermie DVD. Now, I'm the mom - but my daughter loves it, too! I can't imagine giving this DVD only 4 stars...it definitely is well deserving of 5+++! This movie provided a great tool to introduce the concept of lying vs. telling the truth to our 3 year old. At this age, the concept can be a bit difficult, but this movie really brings it down to a kid's level of understanding. The DVD also features the "Water Beatles" and some great songs! (Sung by Third Day - really fun!)
