This is an amazing must have resource. I float remote rivers in Alaska each year. This is a must have book whether you are hunting or not. Tons of info on remote rivers, bush services, rafting gear, camping, safety, etc.. Just a wonderful book and I wish I had found it years ago.Danattherock

I've yet to go float hunting, but this book was referred to me by somebody within the AK Fed/State offices as a good reference or starting point for research. They said it's really popular among folks including the forums.outdoorsdirectory.com forums.Details everything you need to know about going float hunting or traveling throughout AK remote areas. (Actually, the entire State of Alaska is remote as there are very few roads.) I've only dipnetted so far, but even some tips within the book I found good for other outdoor events. |
