Impractical item,

This item, as described in the instructions, cannot be left unattended. It takes several minutes to set it up and it must be turned off and the globe removed and stored after each use. Additionally, the item cannot be placed close to computer systems or televisions because of the very strong magnetic field generated. If the device loses power, the globe attaches to the upper arm, which the instructions say not to allow to happen for more than a few seconds. Not a practical item.

I like the Silver base with the blue globe. The only problem that I have is the some of the places marked on the globe are hard to see because of the color. I still would of got this one because it was the globe even if I know about the writing.
