I can't believe the final book in the Stork trilogy is finally here. I am sad to see this trilogy come to an end but I really liked the way it all ended. I thought this book was better than the second one- I really enjoyed it! We got to see lots of new characters, which I think was awesome. I think that was just the thing missing from book 2. The new additions breathed new life into the story.

Kat is just such a determined girl. She does not give up, which is so admirable. Even if she doesn't always follow the rules. Plus she has this cute little snarky streak in her that I really found amusing. And Jack made me smile again! He showed me why I loved him so much in the first book. That in itself made me super happy.

Flock is a surprising end to an adventurous trilogy. I didn't see a few things coming in this installment. And one of them was pretty big! I'm not going to say a word though, you will just have to read it for yourself to find out. And then once you do, let me know if you like it or not. Personally I did like it, even though it bummed me out a little bit. But I think it was fitting.

I said in my previous reviews that I loved the norse mythology in the previous too books and this one was pretty awesome too. I was so happy to see more legends explained and woven into the story. Plus some secrets uncovered and mysteries answered. I felt like Flock was a satisfying end to a good YA series. I really enjoyed the adventures of the Stork trilogy. And I love that Wendy has something in her author blurb about the series that says she misses Kat and bets they are up to mischief without her or something like that and I just think that is so perfect. I can totally picture Kat stirring up all kinds of mischief, and it is how I like to think of her and her gang too.

*Disclaimer- I got a copy of this book for free in exchange for my honest review. I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I never did read book one in the series, Stork, but I enjoyed book two, Frost, and when I saw Flock available as a Kindle book from my library, I had to check it out. And I liked Flock, but didn't love it. There wasn't enough chemistry between Katla and Jack, and there just seemed to be something missing. Maybe it was the fact that I read Flock while totally exhausted after Christmas (so I was in a 'hard to impress' reading mood), but it fell a little flat for me.

I'm sorry to see an end to this well written, sophisticated trilogy. Personally, I liked this last book best--though they are all award winners and great reads. Dolsol's young adult voice is fast, funny, and authentic from start to finish.

I really enjoyed the first two books in the Stork trilogy so I was excited to read this last one. And while it wasn't my favorite of the trilogy, I definitely enjoyed it.

Once again, I just loved Kat. I still love her humor and kind of sarcastic streak. And I love that she does what she thinks is right, even if it's not exactly what she's supposed to be doing. And I still like her relationship with Jack (although we don't get too much of him in this book). I think it still seems like a real, teenage relationship. I didn't remember Penny from last book (oops) but I enjoyed her. And I loved the little secret we get about her at the end. I didn't remember Marik or Jinky either, but I can't forget them now! I love that everyone loved Marik. I too thought it was one of his special powers but it turned out that was just his personality. And spunky little Jinky was fun too. She had a soft side buried way down there.

I do have to say that the main action of the story towards the end got me a little confused. I had a hard time following what was happening and why but I think I got the gist of it by the end. And there's a surprise that happens at the end that I wasn't expecting but I like it. It ended the trilogy nicely and doesn't leave me wondering what was going to happen next. I liked that I got all the answers I need!

I enjoyed this trilogy. It was a great take on Norse fairy tales and while I'm sad to see it end, I was happy with it!

The third and final installment in the Stork trilogy comes to a head in a big way and Katla is forced to make decisions that will not only impact her life but everyone she cares about. I've come to love these characters and was sad to hear this will be the final book in the series. The mixture if Norse mythology, modern day fantasy, and YA romance was an instant hit with me. The characters are complex, fun and charming. And the setting is unique, inspired and magical.

With plenty of mystery, humor, drama, magic, and romance - this latest story is jam-packed with a roller coaster of emotional events and suspense. With several twists and surprises towards the end, Flock is a satisfying ending to an enchanting trilogy. I look forward to future stories from this talented author.

I really enjoyed this series, and think the books were all well-written. The first book (Stork) was the best by far-fun, interesting, and great use of Norse mythology. The second one(Frost) lost me little-known again, solid writing, but the plot wandered a little too much. The third one was great right up to the end. *****spoiler alert**** I mean, Karla and Jack both lose their powers and Penny gets to be elevated to fabulous Storkhood instead? Just kind of seemed a lucky ending for someone who had accomplished so much. Kayla got a raw deal.....

FLOCK is the final book in the STORK trilogy, and quite possibly the best. Characters from the previous two books appear to help or hinder Katla's attempts to save her baby sister, place a soul with her friend Jaelle, hold onto her relationship with Jack, and deal with mysterious and dangerous "natural" events. Ms. Delsol masterfully brings the story to an exciting and satisfying conclusion while deftly tying up the trilogy's many subplots.

Highly recommended for readers from 11-adult!

Flock did a nice job of wrapping up the lives of all of the characters and story lines. I enjoyed the suspense of figuring out the mystery and the relationship suspense between Katla and Jack. Very well done.
