EDIT: I'm revising my review. After using it for a while now I have come to the conclusion that this thing is crap.

Wish I could change my rating to 1 star (more than it deserves). Don't waste your money on this. You will regret it. It ate one of my CF cards, and later shorted out and crashed my system. Fortunately it didn't fry anything in the computer when it died.

Well, it works. It reads all the memory cards and floppy disks I have tried. But the fit and finish of the product leaves a lot to be desired. I got this to replace a Mitsumi FA404 I have been using for years because the Mitsumi can't read XD or SD-HC.

The drive I received is a Sabrient brand. While it does read XD cards, they have to be jammed in forcefully at an odd angle. If you try to slide them in straight they won't go. Something in the slot blocks them. Other cards fit a little better, but not as well as my old Mits.

Not the quality I was hoping for, but since it works I guess I'll keep it.

Does what it claims but had to force it into the floppy bay, then the floppy did not function due to the tight fit but finally got it working after messing with it enough.

This little unit fit in very easily. Some people may have misread the title...it is a "High speed USB 2.0"...the Flash memory reader drives are just normal speed for that type of drive. It didn't come with any instructions... but; didn't need them either.
You will need your own Floppy cable for it...just plug it in and plug in the USB plug into an open spot on your Motherboard and boot up your computer, and you're in business.
The price was good and the features were great.

Doesn't read every memory card like it says it should. It wont read my Sony Memory Sticks at all. Works fine with SD chips though. The USB 2.0 port is also handy and works just fine.

With all the media out there a card, floppy, usb reader seemed like a good idea to put into the computer I recently built. Particularly at a decent price. Unfortunately the build quality is junk,cards don't fit or work. As I didn't install it within the return time window. I'm stuck with it. Enormoussssss Trouble !!!!! with USB2.0 All in 1 Card Reader/Writer
On first install every thing is ok showing 4 virtual disks,
but after rebooting Windows XP / Seven (32 or 64 bits)
the USB2.0 All in 1 Card reader/writer is not recognized anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Generic drivers implemented in Windows doesn't correctly and permanantly show it and
there is not specific driver for it !!!!!!

IF someone have a good solution to this problem, just let me know because for the moment,
for me, it's just a great crap for 15$ !!!!!!!

Great alternative for those who still use floppy disks and want all readers in a handy location. It's a little noisy but I can deal with it and the price was right. I would recommend this product.

Thar ok in my book the 1st one didn't work thay sent me a 2ed one without me having to send the broken one back

Quiet for a floppy drive. Perfect recognition in Windows 7. No fuss no muss. Ordered 2 and 1 was DOA. Contacted seller (store4PC) had a new drive two days later. Kudos! Will look for you for future purchases.

This item has enhanced my ability to add connectivity to my computer. Now I can read and write to any format.
