Little resemblance to real flowers
I received the book yesterday and I am not very impressed. While daffodils are quite nice, most flowers presented in the book have little resemblance to real flowers. Especially I was disappointed with cornflowers. Having looked through multiple books on ribbon embroidery, I would give this book 3 stars. However, I am still glad I got it. This is the book I...

I received the book yesterday and I am not very impressed. While daffodils are quite nice, most flowers presented in the book have little resemblance to real flowers. Especially I was disappointed with cornflowers.
Having looked through multiple books on ribbon embroidery, I would give this book 3 stars. However, I am still glad I got it. This is the book I learned "extended ribbon stitch" from. Most books do not include this stitch in their stitch library. I have not read entire book, I might learn something else from it. But I decided not to buy 2 other books by this author which were in my wish list.
