5.0 out of 5 stars Very inspirational, September 14, 1998

This review is from: Florence Nightingale: War Nurse (Discovery Biographies) (Library Binding)
I first read Florence Nightengale: War Nurse when I was a child. Ever since then it has been one of my favorite books and now I am an adult. I was very inspired by Florence. I am now enlisted as a nurse in the Air Force. I too would like to help all the wounded soulders. Once again thank you for all the inspiration.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Author, also wrote "Bread and Butter Indian", July 5, 2010
A lovely short bio., 80pp, with mediocre artwork. This is part of a series of bio's called "A Discovery Biography" by Chelsea House Publishers. This book tastefully and thoroughly covers the scope of FN's life and is written for grades 2-6. This means an advanced student from grade 2, an average student from grades 3-5, and a slower developer from grade 6. It makes a nice read-aloud.
