How do you start to review a project that is simply awesome? The anointing that God has bestowed upon Twinkie really showed with this particular project. Twinkie along wuth Florida AMU were the BOMB! Having seen the Clark Sisters in concert (Karen, Dorinda,Jacky) it was a real blessing to get a chance to see all of them preform with such grace, and harmony they truly blessed my soul. I'm a real big fan of the Clark Sisters from way back they are one of Gospels Musics legendary groups. When they sing they truly glorify God and all of His greatness flows through every lyric that they sing. Y'all Just Keep on Giving God The Glory and He will forever continue to bless you all. I brought this tape a while ago. I played it so much and lent it out to so many people that it literally fell apart. Recently, I brought the CD again, and I love it again like it was the first time. Coming from a HBCU (Historically Black College and University) and singing in our gospel choir, I found that this CD has a great college gospel choir sound and with the help of Twinkie Clark and Donald Lawrence, it is just straight off the hook. The music is slamming and the message is clear, be a "Follower of Christ", then "Feed his sheep", because we have to "Complete the Work", and then we can say we have "Nothing to Lose", but all to gain. Florida A & M did a great job, and this Cd will always remain one of my favorite gospel choir albums.

Twinkie, you are the bomb. You have a beautiful voice and some hands. Please come to New Orleans and hold a concert or musical workshop. I'm dying to meet you. I know different ones that heard you play in person at Bethany COGIC in L.A.,88TH Street COGIC in L.A. and of course in Tennessee. I wish for that same opportunity. I love your style of playing. You hit some chords out of this world. I constantly rewind my VCR to hear those chords. I try sooo hard to play shouting music like you. I just don't have it all yet. I play at church. I've been playing at church since I was 9 yrs. old. I am now 15. The Lord has blessed me with a keen ear of music. I love to play the organ. Just to make the Leslie scream, Oh my God!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! Please don't forget about your fans in Lousiana so please come, YOU and the Clark Sisters before 1999 is out. I have two videos of you, Florida A&M and COGIC International Mass Choir'Leaning on Jesus". I LOVE the way you play. I hope to meet you soon. I'll make myself known. TRUST ME!!! You are such an inspiration to me until its not even funny. PLEEEEEEEASE come to New Orleans. Youa have to. I'm trying to get some oldies like Endow Me, In thy Holy Will, You Brought the Sunshine, etc. I would like to get some old videos too!!!!! I tell everyone about you. I think the quality of some of the other singers were not as good as twinkie so therefor it made her look like she was in need of help but twinkie is the bomb out of all the clark sisters. they are all unique in their own way but there something about how twinkie take you to church verses the other sisters.

This is an old CD but still is good. If you love the Clark Sisters, you will not be disappointed. It is similar to how Dr. MM Clark used to have choirs singing. I would recommend this.

This is one gospel CD where I just play the whole thing without skipping any songs. It has both traditional and contemporary songs.

My mother loves the song "lord i'll go" and i wanted to know if anybody had the lyrics to that song, if they could email them to jalyou@hotmail.com

The cd is an inspiration. I am a big fan of the Clark Sisters, as well as an Alumni member of the FAMU Gospel Choir.

Maybe I'm biased since I did actually sing on the live recording of this CD way back in 1995 during the homecoming concert my freshman year at FAMU. (Go Rattlers!) But I also bought the CD myself and a few extra copies for family members. And as a consumer I was not disappointed in the least. I love to listen to every single song partly because I remember the energy we felt on stage when we were performing them that day but mostly because they just sound great. Ms. Clark-Terrel is a truly talented lady and she brought so much vibrance and energy to the recording.....and I know first hand that the FAMU gospel choir is already about as vibrant and energetic as they come...so to add to that is an amazing feat. One time for FAMU!!!

I really enjoyed this album because as a fan of the Clark Sisters, each sister was featured on a song of their own. It opens with Karen Clark-Sheard singing a beautiful solo followed by the joining of an upbeat youthful choir. Following that, the remake of Nothing to Lose by the Clark Sisters will blow your mind away. Enough said. You're missing out if you're not an owner of this CD.
