1.0 out of 5 stars Florida from Brochures!, March 26, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Florida with Kids, 1998-1999 (Travel with Kids) (Paperback)
This book has little information specific to traveling in Florida with children. It is not even a good travel book on its own, kid issues aside. I think it is admirable that he tried to include non-amusement park type activities and places, but the descriptions are just too brief and sound too much like obvious details from travel brochures. There are no interesting insights or great hints for things to do or places to visit. Most of his hints were common sense, for instance in the section about Central Florida accomodations he writes, "Most motels and hotels in the region have pools, and all have air conditioning. Those near the theme park cater to families..." Duh.
