Book Description

October 1, 2003
Florida Marlins 2003 World Series Champions is in the tradition of similar instant books celebrating the achievements of championship teams and individuals, including A Season to Remember (Ohio State 2003) with the Columbus Post Dispatch, NFL Champions: Super Bucs with the Orlando Sentinel, Anaheim Angels: 2002 World Series Champions, Orangemania: 2003 NCAA Basketball Champions, and Fire on Ice: The New Jersey Devils. Sports Publishing presents the first title to be available on the market to salute the champions of the 2003 World Series. The book promises to tell the complete story of the teamÂ’s winning season through articles, columns, and photos that first appeared in the pages of the award-winning Miami Herald, one of the greatest daily newspapers in America.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Biased, November 24, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Florida Marlins World Series Champions (Paperback)
I understand that the book is written by the people at the Miami Herald, but this book is far to biased. The Marlins are made to look like superhumans, and the Yankees like complete losers. I am a Yankees fan, but I do have an appreciation for the Marlins. I just can't believe that things like Ruben Sierra's triple or Alfonso Soriano's home run were just minimized and completly overshadowed by things like Alex Gonzales's home run in game 4.
