    These are the most expensive boots I have ever purchased. I was tired of work shoes/boots that lost their appearance so soon. I bought a half size down from my normal size which was good. The workmanship is very nice and the soles are non slip without picking up dirt. Break in period was about 4 days. The comfort level is about what you would expect from dress shoes-these are not hiking boots. My pair were made in India the boots take a shine very well. If you have to wear a sport coat and tie these boots are great for construction site visits or just getting off pavement. I would have given them 5 stars if they were more comfortable
