If you are reading this, I assume, you are willing to invest this much of money on it. Good news is, it is worth it. When you first put you feet into it, you can feel how well made it is and the size is just perfect. Very comfortable and elegant. I am very picky when it comes to shoes, this one got my 5 stars without hesitation.

Awesome boots.

These boots look great and feel great. They were just what I was looking for. they came with 2 pairs of laces, a pair of brown ones and a pair of orange ones. Even the packaging was thought through, instead of the usual wrapping paper these boots arrived in individual cloth bags. Very good product by Florsheim.

Nice boots, but the dark brown has more red than expected

poorly made heel

When I received these boots I was pretty happy... I had to wear them around a while before the felt comfortable but other then that they were great! Until a couple weeks wearing them the material in the heel split/cracked horizontally and I honestly have no idea how it happened on both shoes at different times. I am a normal guy with normal feet so I am not sure what the deal was. I just emailed the company to see what they could do about it. Here is for hoping!

Looked great at first

I like the look of these boots. Unfortunately, they don't hold up. Have only had them a few months and the wooden soles are cracking and the thin rubber sole coverings are wearing through. I estimate that I've worn them less than 30 times, in average conditions. My next boots won't be another pair of these as I'm sure I'll need to replace these very soon.

Comfortable Junk.

So, these boots look fantastic. I like they way they fit. They are comfortable as all get-out.

However....The soles on these boots are the worst thing I've ever seen. At about day 28 the rubber from my sole started to detach from the wooden heel support. I assumed they'd hold together much better than this, but whatever wood they use appears to be useless as far as getting anything to stick to it. I unfortunately waited about 2 days too long prior to returning them as Florsheim only has a 30 day return policy. I remember growing up with florsheim dress shoes and they were the best crafted shoe that I could get my hands on. Now though, they are garbage. The leather treatment is terrible, and the soles are even starting to crack now. I opted to get these instead of spending 100 bucks more on the Red Wing Iron Ranger. I really wish I would have gone with the Red Wings. My boot-guy won't even repair these. He says the only thing worth salvaging is the leather itself. He would have to re-make the whole boot which would cost more than a replacement pair. I've only had them about 3-4 months and they look like my 3 year old pair of work boots.

I read the reviews on here and was skeptical but figured they couldn't be that bad...maybe they got a fluke pair. Nope, junk. Sorry to crush your hopes and dreams of owning a fancy pair of boots for a fair price. Save yourself the trouble and get some Red Wings.

Falling apart after just a few months

Very disappointed with this purchase. The stitching has come undone after just a few months, so we have had to do some emergency surgery using the other end of a needle to carefully insert the thread back in place. The sole is also slowly coming unstuck, so we will have to work on that too. They look good and I am told very comfortable, but can't stand up to regular wear.
