Funny. I say that it seems to like a standard discharge hose, but I've never had a discharge hose before. I assume they are all pretty standard. It was your basic plastic hose that came with two (sort of cheap) adapters and a metal clamp for securing the hose. I paired this up with the Wayne RUP160 1/6-Horsepower 3,000 GPH Oilless Submersible Utility Water Pump and got good results. The pump had no problems getting the water through all 24 feet of the hose and the adapter that came with it fit the pump just fine.

works fine, but be careful when you store it. it should be stored wrapped in circles, otherwise, it kinks/gets damaged easily.

Don't know what else to say, works the way it is supposed to! Easy to use and store. Attaches easily to the pump and allows to pump out a good bit of water.

The hose is fine if a bit stiff - be careful as these can crack easily. The hose itself was fine, but the hose clamp was of pretty low quality and was my only real complaint - I had a ton of trouble with it, and I'm no newcomer to hose clamps and hardware.

This discharge hose is packaged and advertised to fit 1.25 or 1.5 inch outlet pipes. The hose will attach to a 1.5 pipe. But this discharge tube is narrower than 1.5 and therefore creates a restriction if attached to a 1.5 inch pipe. Sump pump installation instructions warn that the installer should not attach a narrower discharge pipe than indicated. It is unfortunate that the manufacturer and Amazon advertise this hose as suitable for 1.5 inch when it clearly is not suitable.
