I watched this documentary for a project on water privatization and I found it INCREDIBLY helpful. I did notice that it really pointed fingers, but that is not surprising due to the urgent nature of the issue.

I rented this as I was reviewing documentaries for a class. I had two young friends with me of college age who were helping me look at films that might be interesting for a class of between 40 and 60 students. This film came in among the top 5 for the class. The class was about women and globalization; the film featured these themes: water and access; women and access to clean water; water treatment; women and water activism; Cochabamba water wars; South African water access; water quality; water contamination; Maude Barlowe; Vandana Shiva; (many, many more)

Forever I have heard of a "new world order" taking over this world. I am not a conspiracy advocate. Yet this movie provides real people from around the world telling their stories about international exploitation of water resources by large multinational corporations. The fact that the American government was bought off to create legislation that provides the same rights as American citizens for multinational corporations is a wake up call. T. Boone Pickens may be the dark force described in the Bible before the return of the Christ light. His famous "wait and see" quote regarding how much money he expects to make off of you and your family is featured. There is much more available on You Tube about that historic interview where he brags he is going to make a billion dollars off his water rights. This movie is factual and offers examples of how people took action to preserve the quality of life for their children and grandchildren. Rent it or even better buy it and show it to as many of your friends who have an interest in protecting the quality of life of themselves and all future generations. The return of the Christ light may just be you and I waking up and returning the power to the people from the grasp of the 1% who advocate "privatizing everything from Water to Social Security to Health Care".
