What a stellar CD! I've seen the name Lynne Fiddmont on liner notes for years as a background singer for artists from Stevie Wonder to Norman Brown, but I had no idea how spectacular she would be as the star of her own show! FLOW is a deliciously mellow urban/jazz release that should put Ms. Fiddmont right out front where she belongs. She's treated us to eight outstanding originals and one jazz classic (the swinging "No Regrets"). Nothing but the good stuff here, from the festive Latin-flavored opener "Holiday" to the sensually tasty "Cupid" to the ambrosial ballad "U R Loved," just to mention a few. FLOW is more than just an album and song title. As Lynne puts it, "Flow is the developing philosophy of my life right now. As things occur, you can either fight them or go with them, figuring out solutions and making the best of a challenging situation." Judging from this most excellent solo debut, she has more than overcome whatever challenges stood between her and this outstanding collection of tunes, and must be incredibly proud of the results. Her voice is unique, but if I were to suggest comparisons, names that come to mind are Deneice Williams, Minnie Riperton, and Corinne Bailey Rae. I'm picky when it comes to vocals for the Smooth Jazz format, so trust me when I tell you that Lynne Fiddmont is a perfect fit. It's seldom I find Music CD that I can listen to over and over and over again. This CD is definitely one of them. Lynne's voice is just breathtaking...If you never heard her sing you need to.

A must have in your record collection!

A good friend of Lynne's has told me about her for years. I must admit, I didn't pay much attention to xxxxx, but when I purchased the cd, I was blown away! I love this cd. Lynne, please record another cd, soon, you're overdue!

When I first heard this CD on My Space the compassion and purity overwhelmed me. Who would have thought that I would meet the artist weeks later at a Grammy event and have the opportunity to share my thoughts with her in person. You and all your friends will thoroughly enjoy this retrospective of "good music." And if you get a chance to see Lynn perform live (for instance, Smooth Jazz Cruise 2009) I guarantee that you will have a wonderful time.

Lynne Fiddmont.........wonderful singing from a wonderful artist. I'm so glad good soul music is coming back.

You'll be playing this CD at home,in the office and on the road. The melodies and lyrics are captivating. Lynne's voice evoks a time when life was truly a "holiday".
