This watering system makes it easy to fill the batteries especially those that are at the back requiring often a light and a mirror.

I have four 6V batteries in a compartment on the side of my RV. Accessing them to check the water level requires kneeling on the ground next to the RV, pulling off the caps ( tough with the cables in there ), then using an inspection mirror and a flashlight to see down into the battery. It's a PITA, takes about 10 minutes and at best, it's hard to be accurate seeing inside the cells from that angle.

The fill caps have float valves in them to prevent overfilling. They're spaced correctly for 6V golf cart battereis

Batteries aren't cheap, so anything I can do to make this chore easier will help me not procrastinate and possibly hurt the batteries.

The Pro-Fill took less time to install than a regular water inspection and now topping all the batteries off takes about 30 seconds. I needed two sets for all of my batteries, but between them they had all the parts I needed to connect all the batteries to the one fill hose. I don't even have to kneel down to do it.

Just connect the fill pump to the quick release connector and drop the end of the hand pump into a jug of distilled water. Squeeze the bulb a few times until the cells are full and disconnect.

Note: if you don't already have one, you'll need a Quik Fill hand pump as well, though you only need one, no matter how many batteries you have.

Received 2 Pro-Fill RV Battery kits today, and guess what?....the valve inserts do not fit my Trojan T-105 Plus batts. They will not go in past the vent well split ring inside each cell. These batteries are not exactly rare, and in fact are in pretty common use. So the product does not fit T-105 Plus batts. Have to say, that Tim Pitcher at Pro-Fill has been very responsive in trying to resolve this problem. He says that the valves have to be forced in past the vent well ring. Have not tried forcing for fear of breaking something.

This device was easy to set up and originally seemed to be working as I could hear water being pumped into the batteries. I made the mistake of trusting the system, assuming all battery cells were being filled. After about two years long before my 6 volt golf cart type batteries should show signs of weakness I pulled the watering system off and learned all cells were dry about 0ne inch below the lead core. I filled the cores and tried using them but the damage had been done. My advice would be to visually check the cores every few months which would be cumbersome. Better advice would be not to buy and trust this system to water your expensive batteries.

If your RV is like mine and the batteries are not very accessible, then this system is perfect for you. Installation was a breeze and now I don't have to contort myself to see the water levels in each battery cell.

I had 6 batteries with 4 cells each which didn't match the 3 cell version per battery that the product was made for. But no matter, since the holes for each cell matched the size of the inserts anyway, I simply eventually bought 4 sets of the 2 battery kit. I removed the inserts from their fixed position (which is easily done, with a little pressure they simply pop out) and then placed them individually into each battery hole or cell. Then cut up the tubing to match the distance between each inserts placed individually and bingo! It worked for my situation! Fortunately each kit comes with extra tubing so no problem cutting tubing to specific lengths thereby adapting the kit to my situation. Then I got a pump (Flow-Rite Pro-Fill/Qwik Fill Hand Pump) sold separately for the kit and it worked great. You have to watch how much water pressure you create in the system when you go to equalize the amount of water that goes into each cell or the water will burst out at any weak spot. Other than that, it worked great for my situation! For my situation of 6 batteries with 4 cells each, instead of setting it up where I filled all batteries at once, I broke it into 2 systems which fills half the batteries at one time when I connect the "Qwik Fill Hand Pump" to each of the 2 systems separately.

This is a most convenient product. The kit should include the hand pump, at that cost, which is necessary for it to be operational. Otherwise, the kit is easy to install and easy to use.

This item was as described. It came in a timely fashion and was well packaged. I have used this product before and it makes keeping the batteries in our RV correctly filled. Installation was easy and took 5 min. Be sure to get the separate pump. It would be nice of these items were packaged together.

I installed 2 of these on my 4 inline deep cell batteries that are on my motor home. Install took about 10 minutes. The fill process now only takes about 30 second each month instead of 10 to 15 minutes. This is a great product.
