About the Artist
The talented Iranian-Swiss first came to the attention of the dance community with his productions as Samim & Michal (with Michal Ho). Releases on labels like Kindisch, Freizeitglauben and Tuning Spork marked the duo out as big names for the future. Samim's Fuckpony project resulted in an album for Get Physical, Children of Love, which was as celebrated for its production nous as for its wicked sense of humor. Samim also released an album as Bearback, and 12"s on respected labels like Circus Company and Moon Harbour. On top of this, his remix talents have been in high demand, leading him to rework tracks for the likes of Fourtwenty, Dirtybird, Highgrade and Crosstown Rebels. Samim´s new LP under his own name is a dizzying document of dance futurism and experimentation.
