Bought this product to protect the external faucets on my condo as there is quite a bit of construction going on around not to mention the common yard maintainenance guys.

Is this worth $20? - you betcha! Solid product added with the next gen magnetic key does the trick. Bought 3 locks and the vendor called and confirmed that all the 3 locks would be "keyed" (or magnetized) in this case to the same.

Very simple to install - as easy as opening/closing a cracker jar lid!

Highly recommend it to anyone who want to protect this precious resource and to save $$.

Update: September 28th, 2009

Just came back from a 2-week long trip and found all the locks unscrewed and 2 were missing and people have been stealing water! Looks like they have been easy to remove! I am going to contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say. The locks with the new "Magnetic Key" may not be that good after all. Think I am going to request the good ol' fashioned lock/key.

When I placed the order, someone from the company called me and asked if the locks were going to be used at the same place, and if so, if I wanted the lockes keyed the same way for convenience. Now that is what I call customer service. Good customer service is hard to find these days. I of course had them keyed the same.

When I got the locks, they were very well packed, and they arrived at the specified date if not earlier. I was very impressed with the locks. They were very well built. You don't see this type of quality any more. The locks were made of a very heavy and durable metal, and I almost want to say bulletproof. I have these locks protecting all the faucets outside of my house.

I highly recommend these locks to anyone, or any company that has had water stolen from their faucet.

I purchased this Faucet Lock after a lot of research and reading each review here on Amazon. I will have to tell you, I am just as satisified with the service as well as the product itself. I placed my order late one night and early the next morning, I received a phone call from the company (Mark Nickeas). He saw that I purchased 2 locks and wondered if I would like them keyed alike for ease of use. Of course I did, but that was awesome that a company would actually care! I guess I just had too many bad orders in the past with other vendors. I received the item within the week I ordered. As for the product itself, it is very well made, and fit perfect. They are made of brass so they won't rust. These Faucet Locks are the best of all the products out there. You will not be dissapointed.
