With Leslie Evans' gorgeous & inspiring artwork of the flowers & clues to Jerry Pallotta's text, we are seamlessly taught our letters & come away with not only what each letter means, we also are inspired to connect ideas portrayed throughout the pictures.

There is even an Artist's Notes page on which is given details of the histories given to each plant; useful & curious trivia that completes this perfect bouquet of learning. Very well done - a delight to both my eyes & my mind!

As a long distance grandparent, I use every opportunity I can to bond with my Granddaughter. On a recent trip to visit, I experienced her newly found love of "all things flowers". So, I recently purchased this book and it immediately went to the top of her "favorite" list. She has just about memorized every flower in the book and has become quite proficient at identifying them in gardens. I hope this has set the foundation for a hobby we can share for years to come.

I got two of these books, one for each set of grandkids. First saw it at the Ringling Museum of Art in one of their exhibitions. But couldn't find it in their gift shop. So ordered it through Amazon. The pictures, the words, all of it a delight.
