I have had classes in flower arranging and Ikebana. I found this book to be an excellent resource for the beginner as well as the advanced arranger. There are creative ideas for containers and the flower material are generally readily available. Directions are clear and the diagrams and pictures are helpfu.

This is a really good book with many walk through steps, beautiful pictoral instructions and ideas. A bit intense for the beginners but with some practice easily learned. Your house will definately be brightened with Atsuko Ono's touch.
