The rich photographs do justice to the designs, showcasing not only the arrangements but their well-chosen backdrops as well. And they provide more than merely visual evidence of their artistry; the two also discuss the composition principles behind each arrangement (including how to choose the perfect container) and explain the specifics of how to achieve the look, though they do presume a readership with some prior flower-arranging experience.
