So beautiful, you and your special child will share magic., February 7, 2009
This review is from: Flower Fairies Sparkly Sticker Book (Paperback)
Some sticker books are just insipid. You as the adult don't want to do any of the dumb things being asked of the child.
This one is the gold standard. Yes, the activities are geared for a child, but it is so beautifully presented that you can't take your eyes off hte gorgeous illustrations. It not only has the typical complete the picture or unscramble the words kinds of pages, but it also goes beyond, it inspires a love of the woodlands and natural growing things. The layout of the pages and the details of the stickers are first rate. I defy any adult helping a child with these activies, NOT to enjoy and love the book too.

A sticker book that engages both parent & child:), November 13, 2009
This review is from: Flower Fairies Sparkly Sticker Book (Paperback)
My preschooler and I have been long-time flower fairies fans, especially the gorgeous illustrations by Cicely Mary Barker (we also have all the flower fairies books). When I saw this sticker activity book, I thought that my daughter would like it. Little did I know that both of us would be engaged in the delightful activities laid out in the sticker book. First of all the stickers are sparkly, and that itself enhances the experience and visual delight - in addition, the activities are very interesting (the stickers themselves are found in the middle of the book and page numbers are provided as reference as to where the stickers go):
pp. 2-3 has an unscramble the words activity in addition to poem-writing idea.
pp. 4-5 has a "follow the lines" to find out which fairy is visiting another.
pp. 6-7 has a brief description about garden fairies and a beautiful layout of a garden (the corresponding stickers are to be placed in the garden).
pp. 8-9 has a beautiful summer scene where stickers can be placed to enhance the picture.
p 10 has a grid where stickers can be placed to complete the grid (picture).
p 11 is another follow the trail/line activity
pp. 12-13 is a story titled "Fantasy Fairy Tale"
pp. 14-15 has a summer ball theme with fairies "Strawberry ", "Columbine", "Bugle", and "Buttercup".
P 16 has answers on how to complete the activities (perfect for children who are independent learners).
This sticker activity book was an engaging and enjoyable activity that both my daughter and I could do together. I plan to get the other sticker books in the Flower Fairies series.

Gorgeous!, April 18, 2008
This review is from: Flower Fairies Sparkly Sticker Book (Paperback)
This was a perfect gift for a young girl who adores anything with a fairy-tale quality. Flower Fairies Sparkly Sticker Book filled the bill and provided hours of entertainment on a sick day at home from school.
The artwork is absolutely remarkable -- dazzling to both children and adults.
