5.0 out of 5 stars pictures that remain with you long after childhood, November 10, 2011

On one page is a picture of a tree with its own fairy, on the opposite side an accompanying verse. I LOVE the pine tree fairy, his hat made out of a cone; and the lilac fairy sniffing the blossom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great way to get young children interested in poetry, August 1, 2009
Young children who love fairies and nature will absolutely adore these series of books on the Flower Fairies. The poems and illustrations by Cicely Mary Barker are sweet, and magical. The illustrations are greatly detailed, the fairies appear life-like and truly magical. A perfect way to get young children interested in poetry - highly recommended!
