From the deep clover green on the cover to the symbolism of each flower, every element of this kit has been thoughtfully designed to promote healing. Cards are divided into four sets of eleven: bulbs, annuals, perennials, and wildflowers, representing our past, our present, our future, and our true selves. Each card features a close-up image of a colorful flower on one side and a enriching, heart-warming message on the reverse.
Melanie Eclare trained as a gardener before retraining as a photographer. Her work has been featured in "House and Garden," "Country Living," "Gardens Illustrated" and" Garden Design." Melanie also wrote Glorious Gardens of Ireland and Tilda's Seeds and photographed for New Country Garden, The Decorated Garden and a photographic book on the Lost Gardens of Heligan. She works closely with the nature spirits and devas in her own garden and the gardens that she photographs.
"My own connection with nature deepened when I became a garden photographer. Once I began to focus on camera on a perfect bloom to capture its essence, I entered a new world. While I was captivated by the extraordinary beauty I front of me, I became increasingly aware of a feeling of joy and bliss as I worked. Catching many of these flowers at their dewy best, in the early hours of the morning, I found myself in a heightened atmosphere, as if I had entered a sacred place such as a temple or a church."
I have used these flower message cards for nearly a decade. They have always had a message appropriate to the question being asked. They are beautifully written and packaged. I highly recommend them.
