The "Flower" layout for Sudoku puzzles is creative and challenging. Essentially, it is 5 Sudoku puzzles in one, and usually none can be solved individually without working back & forth between all 5 puzzles. The puzzles come in a number of fascinating varieties, from original puzzle rules to odd/even, non-consecutive, killer, diagonal and others.The puzzles are consistently rated for difficulty, and there are several puzzles at the different levels. "Easy" is not too easy to be enjoyable by an advanced solver who just wants a quick chalenge. And the IQ and Insane puzzles are at an unbelievably difficult level, yet they can be solved with skill and lots of patience. My favorites are the non-consecutive and killer varieties, but I have enjoyed completing every puzzle in this book and plan to start over with a new copy. Thank you, djape, for a very enjoyable book of puzzles.

This is a great challenge.It took a bit of getting used to, but once you learn it, you'll love it! Get a pencil and eraser and plan to spend a couple hours on a puzzle! I can no longer do a regular sudoku; they're just too easy! |
