After finding his book 'The Power of Now' such an amazing read, I was very interested in seeing and hearing Eckhart Tolle teaching. I could not have been more impressed - this is even more powerful than the book that I loved.

It is such a liberating experience to sit there and absorb the teaching as Tolle gently strips away the layers of illusion we mis-interpret as ourself. I have watched these DVD's on their entirety four times now, and each viewing is as fresh as the first time.

This is the most powerful spiritual teaching I have ever read or viewed - I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I'm a 30 year meditator, near-death experiencer, student of the Rapture, Enlightenment and Nirvana experiences. Tolle had been mentioned several times by friends who said it sounded like what I was talking about. Wow, were they right! Tolle's perspective is new to me, and has expanded my awareness right back to the edge of my best experience. If you are a seeker, grab any of his messages and you will find new joy. order now or call your librarian, just get your hands on this info. This DVD is a slow starter for those in a hurry...start on the 2nd disk. The exercises will will build new spirit muscles. Love.

this is "as it is". it is the nature of who you are. the buddha, jesus, ramana and many others have been pointing us towards this inner reality for centuries. eckhart puts the eternal Teaching into understandable language, without the religious terminology and dogma.

This is classic Eckhart. He leaves nothing out of these sessions. The production values are good, too, which is pleasant. If you want to wake up, go here. Peace to you.

Eckhart simply gives advice on how to live without struggle. There are many pointers out there, in fact, they are everywhere. This is a good one.

After reading both The Power of Now and A New Earth, I wanted to see and hear Eckhart Tolle deliver his message. This two DVD set (3 1/2 hours in length with professional production technique) is both a great stand alone introduction to his teaching and an excellent supplement to his books. In addition to presenting his teaching in a very simple and direct way, Tolle demonstrates a wonderful sense of humor. His smile and laughter are infectious. His unique ability to make fun of our small, egocentric, sense of self (that we take way too seriously) may help some to see beyond it to what he refers to as Being, Presence, Spaciousness, and Stillness.

I see Tolle as a modern prophet bringing an ancient, spiritual message to a world in desperate need of it. Because he was born and came of age in the West, his teachings lack some of the esoteric cultural forms unique to the East. My particular area of interest and practice is Zen Buddhism and I find Tolle's presentation more accessible and helpful than what is found in the writings of many of the Zen Masters from Japan, China, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

I highly recommend this DVD set to those who currently practice meditation or other spiritual disciplines, as well as to those who, for whatever reasons, find themselves drawn to Tolle. You will not be disappointed.

There's something about the way Eckhart Tolle speaks. When he explains the simple fact that "there are no happy endings," somehow you know deep-down that it's perfectly okay.

In this outstanding production Mr. Tolle expands on the major themes in his book, The Power of Now, including:

- Finding self/God
- The pain-body (for adults and children)
- How to find peace ("spaciousness") in a flower, a traffic jam, and anger
- A method for handling unhappiness and saying yes to life (even if you are, as I was, "a walking NO")
- How life cooperates with us when we stop resisting the Now
- How the false self is constructed and maintained
- How to realize what lies within that and all temporary forms

With his unique laid-back intensity and self-deprecating humor, he borrows wisdom from several religions and spiritual sages, weaving it brilliantly into the story of the new consciousness blooming within us.

The cameras are wisely focused on Mr. Tolle throughout, with brief, undistracting shots of the audience reactions at beautifully timed moments. Both DVDs in this set are enlightening, as well as entertaining and enjoyable to watch again and again. I absolutely recommend it for Tolle fans - you will love it! It would make a great gift for people who could benefit from the message, but who are reluctant to read the book. What a wonderful DVD for couples or families to watch together - or even have turned on in the background - as the 'energetic quality' of the words spoken from Presence do their magic.

Seriously - ten stars!

Eckhart Tolle might be the smartest choice for everybody who wants to expand into bigger and better things in life.
The man is a genius (and very funny too, as in humor....) and this DVD shows him at his absolute best

I have yet to find a bad book or lecture with Eckhart Tolle, if we all could practice being in the now this would be a much better place to live.

I've watched this DVD at least 3 times and each time I hear something new; something that did not previously resonate for me. Words that bring me into that space where no thoughts exist. And it is for that very reason that I find such value in listening to Eckhart's words over and over again. There's a magic in the way he presents them to us. His stillness passes through the DVD into my consciousness at that particular time. Mindblowing!
