Am taking floristry course and using this as textbook. Great resource and reference tool as well. Well organized with lots of information. Would highly recommend to anyone. Awesome photography!

As a professional floral designer, I found this book to be a great refresher about knowledge I already have. I own a copy of the 1972 printing of Flowers:Geometric Form, the precursor to this edition. Some great old COLOR photos, and wonderful basic and advanced design info. Jim Johnson is legendary as a designer and instructor. I feel a lot of current design should go back to these basics, and remember where the floral industry began! Just a great book, gorgeous color photos, manageable size.

This book is a great resource book when just starting out in floral design. It has served as a great textbook prior to my taking classes and has been a good reference book thereafter. This is not for designers looking for new ideas - it is stricting an instructional publication.
