Every one new that cuban link was gonna provide for us after the death of his best friend pun so this was always gonna be a dope cut but we ended up getting double that and more the lyrics not only are strong through out but the beat is tight. This single is for people who are fans of pun,cuban link and just about any one with a taste for hip hop even if you dont like hip hop too much this is a cut that will touch you and have you reachin for the re-wind button you can't help but feel this tune!!

R.I.P CHRISTOPHER RIOS A.K.A BIG PUN

Yo, Cuban Link is one of the best rappers I've ever heard. He's got dope lyrical skill and he can come up with some ill beats... he's one of those artists who can be featured on an album an outshine the featured artist... Flowers for the dead is a good tribute song. I give him props for putting his feeling for Big Pun on a track like that... It takes courage to talk about death especially if it is someone close like they were...

Its rare that I find need to review a single as alot of the great ones can be found on albums. However "Flowers for the Dead" is one of the nicest tribute songs ever to come out. Felix Delgado aka Cuban Link drops his realest track ever for his best friend Christopher Rios aka Big Punisher who was also his half-brother from another mother. The track is actually the lead single for Cubans album 24k which never made it onto the market because of record company problems. Cuban describes watching his friend dying, praying and being unable to help him, while flashing back to their past. Then Pun is dead, and Cuban describes how he keeps on hearing his brothers voice. Remembering how talented his friend was, and how Pun was always there to look out for him and how he would make sure Puns wife and kids would be taken care of. All throughout the song, chorus of flowers for the dead is sung, Domingo provides additional vocals for the track. With this single, Cuban expresses his feelings of losing a brother, on behalf of the entire Terror Squad Family. Cuban and Pun were best friends, so it was only natural that when Pun died Cuban unleashed his pain on the mic, letting the world know just how much his brother will be missed. Tracks like this are what make hiphop great. Hopefully the world will wake up soon, and realize that Cuban Link is a worthy successor of his lost friend. Since Puns death, Cuban has left the Terror Squad (not by his own choice) and is currently looking for a record company to produce his next album. Two important things to say, first is R.I.P. Big Pun, second is dont sleep on Cuban Link he is a very talented artist, who just needs the right promotion.

Great single, after the passing of the greatest lyricist of all time (Big Pun) Cuban Link dedicated this song to him, it captures my heart and gives me goosebumps.

On July 17, 2000 my cousin was brutally shot down while he was trying to get into his van. His death was an unfotunate death, and this song helped to descibe him in his short time of living.He was only 19 years old. WE DEDICATED your song to him and playit when ever I or other cousins go to visit his grave site. THANK YOU. RON J.

Very nice CD, and it comes as no surprise! Been listening to your style of rap for quite some time, my favorite was, "Betcha man can't", on Fat Joe's CD. My sister came out in the video with all of you, and blew up the spot, and when Big Pun passed on, it really hit home. Just want you to know your loved and prayed for always! Please continue with your talents in a positive way! Keeping his spirit alive!

I like how rappers dedicate songs to their deceased loved ones because it shows that they have a heart and they're not really the bad people that others make them out to be. I didn't really like Big Pun that much but I understand what a great loss he was to his friends and family. Check this out!

cuban link is the bomb, first off he is so talented and and in flowers for the dead he shows hes feelings (which is not easy for guys)about how he felt about pun.u know they were close. i would recommend any one who likes pun to pick up cuban links c.d.and his album which will be out the 26th!!!!!!!!! and ladies he is one fine fella

One album is the 24K, and the other is a Mixtape CD all about CLK's greatest hits. I gotta say the best song till date is track number 11 on his album called " GO TOE TO TOE"
