When Mrs Harris , a London cleaning lady, sets her eyes on a Dior dress for the first time, she knows she just has to have one. No mean feat for someone who earns 3 shillings a day. This story is as charming as she is and tells about the lives she changes on her way to reaching her goal.A thoroughly enjoyable read.
