I love this CD with the fervor usually reserved for the likes of political dictators, religious icons and chocolate.

This is a nice overview of The Move. Better yet, it SOUNDS great! A few of the tracks can be found on other CDs with only slightly better sound quality... but not many. The '93 Repertoire CDs sound nice (the '98 remasters are overly EQ'd and compressed). A few songs have more thump on the Movements set but they lose the clarity they have here. Besides, that set is pretty hit and miss. Some songs are shrill sounding while others are wooly and dark.

There's some fantastic music on this CD. Flowers In The Rain, Blackberry Way, (Here We Go Round) The Lemon Tree, Cherry Blossom Clinic Revisited... all classic tunes!

If you've come this far to look up The Move go ahead and buy this CD. It's fantastic!

Following is the track listing for this Japanese import that includes both the Move's 1968 debut LP and their 1970 second LP "Shazam." This issue includes a nice 26 page booklet in English and Japanese with lyrics in English. The CD is printed with a cool Union Jack as well. A wonderful collection for both the avid Move fan and the novice.
