This aggressive sounding system is designed to replace the original rear mounted mufflers located behind the rear axle. With easy fit in mind, the system is mandrel bent for maximum performance and includes specially selected mufflers to support the performance image of the car. I purchased the Flowmaster 17410 exhaust two months ago for my 2006 Ford Mustang GT. It is everything I read about and exactly what I expected. It definitely has that unique Flowmaster roar when you first accelerate and once you reach third gear or higher, you will barely notice it from the cockpit but is definitely noticable by those outside near you. This is the third Flowmaster that I've installed on my cars and they all add a unique sound and a noticable increase in horsepower. Finally, if you need to talk to someone at Flowmaster, they are very accessible and knowledgable. You can actually reach an English speaking person at Flowmaster HQ to answer your questions. I highly recommend Flowmaster to anyone who wants a little extra out of their vehicle without having to expend a lot of cash.

These should be what Ford uses as the stock Mustang muffler! Great muscle car sound. Cabin noise is only slightly louder at lower speeds (but it sounds great!) and no highway drone. I was a bit hesitant about ordering car parts from Amazon but they had the lowest price and delivery was very timely and the product was perfect. The installation wasn't too bad either. A little tight to get that bottom bolt in on the back hangers. The wife's little hands and an open end wrench helped out there. These things sound fantastic!

I just installed the new mufflers this morning and have to say this is an outstanding product. The mufflers fit perfectly in place however, there was one place where i couldn't attach the bottom screw to the aft most hanger. There simply isn't enough room to fit a screw up there to thread the secondary hanger bracket mount. Other than that, it looks great, sounds great, fits great and is only slightly louder than the factory 3 inch exhaust. I noticed immediately a performance improvement due to a decreased amount of back pressure. The car is literally quicker than it was with the factory mufflers - no question about it. I recommend this product to anyone especially for the price.
