The Pro's: This mirror is a good size and is easy to use and set up in various locations if one is traveling. The stand closes over the mirror when not in use protecting the mirror from dirt and grime while keeping it safe at the same time. It has a push button on switch that lights all the lights around the mirror. It is made of a light weight plastic that seems fairly strong so splitting or breakage should not be an issue unless one happens to step on it. It is battery operated so you do not have to have an electrical cord dangling.It does have an electrical adapter hole on the side but mine did not come with the adapter.

The Con's: The lights are spaced too far apart and are not bright enough to truly illuminate the face. One has to have other lights on in the room or your lighting is like a very dim blue florescent bulb at the most.This mirror has only one level of lighting and should have at least two, the dim level which is the only choice and bright.The mirror does not come with an electrical adapter even though there is a connection for one on the mirror.I rated this item 3 stars because the lighting is not sufficient and it does not come with an electrical adapter cord.

This mirror is not as bright as the full circle lighted Floxite I formerly had. Sunlight shows things this mirror does not...

I love this mirror! What I miss most when I am traveling and staying in a hotel, is no magnified make-up mirror. This is so compact that it travels easily and works great!

We got this travel mirror as a replacement for one we'd had for years. It was difficult to find a mirror that was as good as the one we had. This mirror is a bit larger than we would like for travel, but is loaded with features. The magnification is especially great.

It is hard to find a lighted X10 travel mirror all together. This is the best I found. The good points are: I can use it hands free, the lights are on the magnified side (one mirror I bought had a mag side and regular side with lights on regular side only)and brighter than most travel mirrors, the mirror is large enough to see into and not distorted (although all magnified mirrors are distorted on the sides) and flat enough to pack in between clothes. It does a few minor problems (but workable for me). The lighting could be a little brighter and it is a little big for traveling.

I like this mirror. It is compact, and lights up bright enough to suit me. If this mirror, when opened, would sit at a better angle, I would like this mirror much better. The fact that it almost does, is an issue with me. I'd almost rather it wouldn't appear to have this very important feature. It leans back too far when open. I take a pencil and stick it in the slot behind the mirror when open. I find this puts the mirror in a good position (if you are sitting in a chair, and have the mirror on a table). I noticed that another reviewer mentioned the fact that the mirror doesn't sit properly. Still, I am glad that I have this mirror.

I bought this as a gift for someone and she loves it! Says it illuminates much more than her old regular make-up mirror. It is compact in size and excellent for traveling, but my friend plans to use it at home, as well. It came with batteries included.

I consider this a great purchase.

The mirrors are fantastic - I bought 3 for family members and they all love them. You will not be disappointed.

you need to be too close and it does not sit properly...but you can make it work..

Bought two of these. Thought it was perfect solution. I can't see without my glasses when traveling and my husband always needs to look for something in his eye. Good quality mirror without distortion. First disappointment: This is not the updated Floxite that has both a 1X and 10X in the case. Second disappointment: you have to fill out form and send $10 to get the electric cord if you do not want to always buy batteries. Too expensive.
