1.0 out of 5 stars Great concert, but.....
I'll begin with a word of caution: this concert was never officially released on DVD. I repeat: Pulse was never released on DVD. Pulse is currently in the process of being prepped for official DVD release (no date yet). Dave Gilmour and James Guthrie (their engineer) are working on the DVD master as we speak. IF you buy the DVD here or anywhere else, it will not have...

IF you buy the DVD here or anywhere else, it will not have the correct menu, and the video will have slight pixelations, especially with intense colors. There will be little if any menu options, and the 5.1 mix isn't true digital DTS, even if your DVD player shows it is playing as DTS. It's a great concert, no doubt. But Pink Floyd hasn't mastered it to DVD, and therefore any video for Pulse other than VHS or Laser Disc is a forgery or pirated. They will not be up to the usual top level Pink Floyd quality. Please consider this before making the purchase. You may be dissapointed. I have not made the purchase myself having known this, I found out these discs are being sold on the Pink Floyd official web site, and thought a word of warning was due. I'll keep my VHS copy untill the real DVD comes out.

Unbelievable, Unbelievable, Unbelievable, is all I can say after viewing this dvd concert. I've seen Pink Floyd live in Washington, d.c. in the 70's. I wish I could have seen this one live as well. I want to thank Amazon for for getting me in touch with (VS44124). Thats who had the dvd new in a box !!!!!!!!!! It was well forth that much and more believe me!!! The sound and video was perfect. If you have a great 5.1 suround sound system as I do your going to love this concert. Two others you may want to consider is, Talking Heads, (Stop Making Sence), and Brain Setzer 0rchestra Live in Japan. Both are equaly as good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably their best concert, February 4, 2004
This review is from: Pink Floyd in Earls Court (DVD)
This is an amazing DVD. One of the best in recent times. The special effects were stunning and it must have been great to have been right there. The performance was incredible, to say the least. It is an unforgettable concert you will be dreaming about for years. You can view it on all DVD players in USA or on any computer DVD-RPM or on PlayStations 2. Injoy !!!!!!

If you are looking for a real DVD don't buy this one.
The person responsible for it just got the VHS and burned a DVD with no image or sound treatment for digital quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Do not miss this show !!!, February 1, 2004

Absolutely stunning, literally mind-boggling visuals. The cameras swoop around and yet always seem to be pointing at the right member of the band (or the backup singers) at the right time. David Gilmour's guitar playing.. well what can you say? He can make those strings sing, soar, weep, moan, and ring like no one since Jimi.. and he does it with such a totally effortless look on his face.. there are few guitar players on this planet who can equal him..

For a bit of fun - compare how Floyd looks today with how they looked in their 20s on the Pompeii Video.. these are guys in their fifties who are obviously having so much damn fun doing what they do, and they do it so well, like they can read each other with a simple glance across the stage.. Richard Wright and Nick Mason, while overshadowed by Gilmour's up front stage center star presence, are equally masters of their instruments..

There's not a missed note or a flub in two hours of video as they run the gamut through their long repetoire of spacy, searing, haunting songs..

If you're a fan of Pink Floyd, you must have this DVD !!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Great DVD, December 23, 2003
This review is from: Pink Floyd in Earls Court (DVD)
A live performance from October 20, 1994, PULSE records the great psychedelic band Pink Floyd rocking out like only they can. Renowned for their hallucinatory special effects and lighting schemes, Pink Floyd goes all out at this spectacular (and very long) concert. Twenty-one of their classics are performed, including classic rock radio staples "Dark Side of The Moon" and "Wish You were Here."
know so many people that would love to make this purchase. Pink Floyd Pulse is one of the greatest concerts ever, with the best visuals and vocal performances. "Comfortably Numb" gives you a great experience with the perfect visuals, and the amazing guitar solo by David. Great Surround 5.1 Sound , digital. So I'm glad I own this!
