I was in attendance for this live cover of the Sigur Ros song in Minnesota and it was an absolutely amazing and personal way to open the concert. Replacing a vocalist's voice with strings can be a great/not-so-great thing(I'm thinking of the hit-and-miss Vitamin String group's many tribute albums),and Kronos made certain not to let the emotions of the song be lost in the translation. I'm glad that this little treasure has been made available to the fans.
