Too Bulky,

I have been a professional flooring installer for 28 years. I was happy with the simple rubber knee pads I have except that they wore out too quickly. I bought the Fluid Forms 1003F Patella Ts thinking that the fluid patella pad would be comfortable and thinking they would wear well. What I found was the straps were uncomfortably bulky when my knee was fully bent, which is how I am quite alot, and would probably strain my knee if I wore them all day. Which is unfortunate as straps do not get the wear and tear to necessitate being so bulky especially with TWO of them. The ones I wear have a single simple 2" elastic strap with Velcro and have never worn out before the pad. In fact I reuse the straps for other things. Thanks but no, I am returning mine until this strap issue is resolved.

I'm a union carpenter who's done all types of jobs. When I'm doing flooring or any job that requires kneeling for long periods of time, I need a "very reliable" pair of pads to save these aging knees. I've tried all types ranging from $4 to $60 in price, but few have provided the comfort and protection like that of Fluid Forms. I'ts a great idea for a design; especially, the fluid-filled pads. Unfortunately, the pressure from kneeling for extended periods causes the fluid to flow from one side of the pad to the other rendering the pads, virtually, useless. If only the designers could modify the pads to keep the fluid confined in the areas needed for extended wear, I could fully recommend these pads.

I am proud and grateful to say,"I wear Patella knee pads." I purchased my first pair two years ago, I wear then 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I build custom log homes, and from the ground setting up, to the car decking finish, Patella keeps my knees safe and comfortable. But,,,, I'm only 5'6",140#, with a 28" waist, ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL!!! I can wrap the straps around my leg twice, I just barely get the velcro to stick. I have to wrap electrical tape around them to keep them fastend where I want them. Please!Please!!, Make a smaller size. Keep up the good work;
