Not enough examples
I am a an engineering student with a gpa of 3.93 (73 hours). I have found this to be one of the least helpfull books I have ever used. The examples worked are at such a low complexity level, that they do almost no good for solving the problems at the end of the chapters. There are entire concepts that are missing explanation and you can only hope that you will have a good...

I am a an engineering student with a gpa of 3.93 (73 hours). I have found this to be one of the least helpfull books I have ever used. The examples worked are at such a low complexity level, that they do almost no good for solving the problems at the end of the chapters. There are entire concepts that are missing explanation and you can only hope that you will have a good enough proffesor to explain during lecture. I do not have that luxury, mine will only go over the illustrated examples in the book.

TERRIBLE BOOK!!,

I AM AN ENGINEERING STUDENT AND HAVE NOT BEEN USING THIS BOOK FOR MORE THAN A MONTH ALREADY. THE BOOK IS POORLY WRITTEN, THE BINDING IS FALLING APART AND HALF OF THE ANSWERS IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK ARE WRONG!! I HAVE ADDRESSED THIS WITH THE PUBLISHER, AND THE AUTHOR WHO WILL NOT RESPOND. THERE ARE FAR BETTER HYDRAULICS BOOKS OUT THERE FOR HALF THE PRICE OF THIS ONE, THAT ARE 100 TIMES BETTER!!
NOT TO MENTION, THE CD (THAT YOU PAY FOR) IN THE BOOK, IS NOTHING MORE THAN AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR AUTOMATION STUDIO.
