After a discussion with my plumber and a lengthy internet search, I concluded that the in-tank cleansers/fresheners that I was using in my toilet to maintain the bowl was causing irreprable damage to the seals at the bottom of the bowl. I search the internet for a solution an discovered Flush 'N Sparkle by FluidMaster. I have been using them for five years and they are excellent. They attach very easily inside the tank of your toilet and inject the cleaning fluid directly into the bowl. I have not had any problem. When the cleaning cartridge is full, then the bowl remains almost spotless. If the bowl becomes soiled and the water with the cleanser resides for a minute, the next flush will clean the bowl.

The only problem is that you must flush the toilet at least once a day or the cleansing cartridge will coagulate and not dispense. However, this takes perhaps 1.5 months. Generally, it should not be a problem, but with two people living in a house with four bathrooms, we have to make the effort to flush each toilet daily.

All in all, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

The Blue (8102) does not work to keep bowl clean. But the Bleach (8302) works great.

By mistake I ordered the BLUE refill instead of the Bleach refill. The Bleach product works great - the blue is blue but doesn't keep the toilet clean. I won't make the same mistake again.

The store that I purchased the blue cartridges from was out of the bleach ones, so I figured, "why not"? Can't be any different, other than turning the water blue. Big mistake. The blue dye clogs the toilet. So use caution when buying the blue dyed ones. Stick with the bleach.

This is a very good product, I've been using it for the last couple of years. It keeps your toilet bowl clean.

This product is easy to install and it works great. They last about 3 months long

Some reviewers said this was waste of money since most of it flushes down the drain. Still, I bought this at my mother's request for some kind of toilet cleaner and she says it is working. She does not see the bowl ring anymore. The bleach seems to be doing some work. I agree that blue dye refill would be a waste. I thought that cartridge holder would hold both bleach and dye so that people would know when to replace, but no. I'm not sure what the dye refill is for.

The white bleach works well but the septic tank ones which I think are green and the blue ones don't seem to do anything. Once you buy the system you are stuck in a trap because you have to continue buying the refills forever and they aren't cheap PLUS there is shipping in here. Lowe's has them where they keep the toilet parts. They aren't stupid. They realize the white ones work well so they charge a couple bucks extra for them. Walmart once had the same cartridges for a system called Kaboom (I think) but I can't find them there anymore. My local Walmart has been getting rid of things at a rapid pace for some reason (and without using their brains) so I don't know if this kind is made anymore or if the idiots just removed them from the store.

It works well enough and it is nice that it is hidden in the tank but the slight complexity of connecting it and the tank becoming stained blue (I think they have clear now) makes me want to use a different product. Also you are forced to purchase only their refills and thats a downer for me.

If you use this product buy these. Priced right and are hard to find these days.
