The fluke 787 processmeter combines a digital multimeter and a loop calibrator in one rugged, handheld tool, for about what you would expect to pay for a loop calibrator alone. Based on the trusted fluke 87 dmm, the 787 adds the ability to measure, source, and simulate dc loop current with .05-Percent accuracy and 1-microamp resolution. With 25-Percent manual step plus auto step and auto ramp on ma output, the 787 has 1000-Volt overload protection on voltage, ohms, frequency, and 150-Volt overload protection on ma, backed up by a 440 ma 1000v fuse. The 787 features a clear LCD display with backlight, and weighs less than one pound. The external accessible battery is easy for battery changes. The processmeter runs about 50 hours typical (measurement), 12 hours typical (sourcing 12 ma) on one 9-Volt alkaline battery (included). Also included are the following: a quick reference guide, a manual, a set of ac70a alligator clips, a c81y protective yellow holster with flex-stand, and a tl75 safety-designed test lead set.
